Program Overview

Municipal WasteHub (WasteHub) and Municipal Waste Solutions (MWS) are proud to offer up to $10,000.00 in scholarships to support high school seniors and first-year post-secondary students from WasteHub Member Communities who are pursuing their education.

Our commitment extends beyond waste management – we believe in cultivating young leaders who will strengthen future workforce and development.

One letter of reference is required from a WasteHub Member Community official, such as a teacher, dean, professor, superintendent, select board member, or town/city manager. The reference provider must NOT be related to the applicant.

Creative Presentation (Optional)

Municipal WasteHub and MWS welcome creative presentations such as short videos or photos to accompany your essay. While optional, this is an encouraged way to showcase your personality and connection to your community. Creative presentation submissions can be sent to mcarroll@muniwastehub.org (please include full name and reference scholarship) or placed on a thumb drive and sent in along with your application submission.
